Overview
--------

Version 2.0 is a major update to Dell PowerEdge Fan Controller,
introducing a dedicated launcher, improved reliability and enhanced
monitoring while maintaining compatibility with TrueNAS CORE.

This release is recommended for all new installations.

Upgrade Notes
-------------

Users upgrading from Version 1 should:

• Replace r730xd-fancontrol.sh with fancontrol.sh
• Install start-fancontrol.sh
• Update the TrueNAS Post Init task to launch:

      /root/scripts/start-fancontrol.sh

Although the controller automatically returns fan control to Dell's
built-in thermal management during error conditions, users should
verify correct operation before deploying in production environments.
